I met a real live blogger.
All the bloggers I know (except for myself of course) hover out there in the blogosphere and offer us glimpses into their lives, share their clever ideas, entertain and motivate us. We never actually see them, other than in pixels, and certainly never have a face to face conversation with them.

But there I was on New Year's Eve being introduced to my cousin’s party guests. One woman in particular intrigued me. She was rather exotic looking, with an interesting accent. Always enjoying people who are out of the ordinary, I sat down next to her. The conversation turned to occupations and she told me she was a writer. Wow! Reading is one of my passions and writing a burning desire.
“What do you write?” I queried, hoping she was some famous novelist and I had read at least one of her books."I’m a blogger," she added. “Oh, my God, so am I!” I exclaimed in disbelief.
Bloggers have always been in the realm of tooth fairy or Easter bunny, something we believe in but have never seen and here I was talking to a fellow blogger. I now knew for certain that I wasn’t the only one, that there was at least one other person uploading her soul into cyberspace.
Mucha de la Torre, even her name is exotic! As soon as I woke up on New Year’s day I rushed to my computer to seach out her blog and read (in Spanish mind you) her provocatively sensual musings. Oh, how I wished I could read every word without dictionary in hand. But the gist was there and so were the titillating pictures.

Hey, maybe I should write a sexy blog too instead of one about the trials and tribulations of weight loss. I could rename my blog Hungry for Sex and write about improving your love life while losing weight, about the art of seduction and it’s weight loss benefits. How many minutes of foreplay burn off how many calories? Increasing your libido through weight training and that sort of stuff.
Sex sells and instead of my paltry but wonderful 13 followers my blog would become something people were twittering about incessantly:
HoHumSex RT @HungryforSex This is burning up the web. It will dramatically change your sex life & diet forever. http://bit.ly/3UdCE9
Do I dare?
